Chilling Anomaly

solar magnetic shutdown

The most striking anomaly yet

Now here is an anomaly.

A crucial factor in climate on Earth is the magnetic activity of our sun. But there is practically no such activity, as of December 9, 2009. This has not been observed before.

Yes, some long awaited sunspots have appeared. We still cannot be sure they indicate anything like the beginning of a robust solar cycle; or a solar cycle at all.

We have spent more research effort and resources foolishly on sequestering plant food than we have on understanding our only source of warmth, the sun.

We have spent more research effort and resources foolishly on sequestering plant food than we have on understanding the interaction of the sun’s heliosphere with cosmic rays.

We have spent more “research effort and resources” foolishly squelching true science than we have spent understanding cosmic interaction with the heliosphere.

Humanity will pay the price for this extreme and bizarre scientific malfeasance, of this you can be absolutely assured. But humans are resilient, you say? How resilient will we have to be? You don’t know. Earth can and does frequently get very cold.

Simple history, not just healthy science, have been denied to humanity. Why?

  1. One thing I would like to point out- ‘only zero could be lower.’

We’ve only been watching the sun’s magnetic activity for 170 years. What is the indicator that ‘zero’ IS as low as it can go? That Zero is by our standards of measurements since observations began.
