Van Helsing almost hits it on the head: Al Gore, Capitalist
“The vast majority of Americans will become significantly less wealthy as a consequence of the global warming lunacy currently unfolding in the District of Criminals.”
Global warming fraud is endemic in Washington, D.C. But there is much more.
How about “many Americans will become significantly DEAD as a consequence of the global warming lunacy currently unfolding in the District of Criminals.”
The solar fingerprint of the Little Ice Age is distinctly evident today, although precisely which “Little Ice Age” remains in question.
Washington, D.C. and co-conspirators will take your cash while you still have some, now.
When Earth gets really, incommodiously cold, you’ll be on your own. Normal “infrastructure” devoted to energy production will have been taxed into oblivion (bankruptcy, according to Obama; Next American Industry to Die). In the event you can find two nickels to rub together to buy coal, American energy infrastructure will have been bankrupted, by Al Gore and Obama.
The perfect storm results, when history repeats to enlighten those who reconstructed it, for their immediate (financial and political) convenience:
Pick your minimum
Pick your minimum. One is coming (before the other).

Steady increase in Antarctic ice extent
Reported by Steven Goddard Polar Sea Ice Changes are Having a Net Cooling Effect on the Climate
at Watts Up With That
. . . We all have heard many times that summer sea ice minimums have declined in the northern hemisphere over the last 30 years. As mentioned above, this causes more sunlight to reach the dark ocean water, and results in a warming of the water. What is not so widely discussed is that southern hemisphere sea ice has been increasing, causing a net cooling effect. This article explains why the cooling effect of excess Antarctic ice is significantly greater than the warming effect of missing Arctic ice.
Over the last 30 years Antarctic sea ice has been steadily increasing, as shown below (article continues).
I would only amplify strongly that Arctic sea ice has been increasing for the last two years; so heat transfer into the arctic ocean is also decreasing year over year.
Overall albedo of Earth is up by what I consider is a large factor, reported in Earthshine Draft Report – Albedo. It certainly looks like we are in store for continued cooling, particular with the turn-over in the Pacific cited often by J.S. D’Aleo writing at ICECAP (and many other writers).

Via Ice Age Now Worst and most violent winter we’ve ever seen
Geophysicist Philip Chapman, a former NASA astronaut-scientist and former president of the National space Society, warns, “It is time to put aside the global warming dogma, at least to begin contingency planning about what to do if we are moving into another little ice age.”
Newsmax Debt Bomb Is Exploding
(Page down to the good part)
Then there’s the climate. Despite the now almost comical hysteria promoted by the global warming fanatics, the world is getting colder.
. . .
The sun has lost its spots. As of now, all of them. By this point in the solar cycle, sunspots would ordinarily have been present in goodly numbers. Lots off sun spots mean warmth on earth; no sunspots spell drastic cooling.
The speculation in the scientific community is that we could be entering a new epoch that few would welcome. Several renowned scientists have been predicting for some time that the world could enter a period of cooling right around now, with consequences that could be dire.
“The next little ice age would be much worse than the previous one and much more harmful than anything warming may do,” says Dr. Chapman. “There are many more people now and we have become dependent on a few temperate agricultural areas, especially in the U.S. and Canada. Global warming would increase agricultural output, but global cooling will decrease it.”
Our research dollars are utterly wasted pursuing the sequestration of anthropogenic carbon dioxide, which has never been connected with global warming in fact. In a new little ice age, the loss of human life could be catastrophic.

“None of us here are experts on climate” quotes Anthony Watts, from NASA’s press conference on the state of the Sun, today.
In August, a few days ago, NASA’s story was different.
Was the ice age and lack of sunspots a coincidence? Or an insight to a causal relationship between sunspots and solar heating of Earth? Dr. Hathaway does not think there is a significant change in the sun’s energy output when sunspots are low. That percentage, he argues, would have very little impact on our planet today, which is already warming too rapidly from the greenhouse gases blanket that human industry has created over the past century.
David Hathaway, Ph.D., Solar Physics Team Leader,
NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, Alabama
NASA are experts of convenience, apparently. When it is convenient for NASA to comment on climate, NASA speaks with profound authority and great clarity. Occasionally, it is not convenient.
Enhancement of low cloud formation is now regarded by NASA experts as “speculation,” since they are not experts today, except in the ability to identify speculation expertly.
Maybe tomorrow NASA will be climate experts again. In fact, I am certain of it.

With solar wind at a 50 year low, NASA is now suddenly and seriously concerned about solar somnolence.
Carbon dioxide is nowhere to be found, Al.
The $trillions you want to extort for carbon dioxide mitigation may not accrue to you.
The prospects of the Al Gore Minimum should prove less than lucrative for you and your ilk, Al.
Even NASA is cutting you off.
Sell the stupid boat, while you can.
As Sun sleeps, let the lawsuits begin. What is your address there in Tennessee?

Due for some Chillin'
“The Sun’s current state could result in changing conditions in the solar system” (no less).
We should have no surprise whatever if the Sun’s current state has a rather profound effect in the solar system, and more specifically among humans on Earth. The Sun’s state has done so on inumerable occasions; some in history, many more in paleoclimatology.
The total shock, awe, and surprise is that NASA would acknowledge it, at long last.
Maybe science can learn. Al Gore is another matter entirely.
Dalton Minimum Returns has the story NASA worried about a quiet sun.

Those sheiks and princes at OPEC want to restrict oil production, in hopes of keeping the price high.
How economically naive they are.
American economic experts ought to be able to wisen the Arabs up quick.
Throttling oil production CANNOT POSSIBLY affect the price of oil.
Only the evil capitalist corruption, American Big Oil, can affect the price of oil.
Arab oil sheiks and princes, our saviours in comparison, should not expect oil prices to remain high just because they throttle production. Our United States Congress has proven that only “AMERICAN BIG OIL” is the cause of high oil prices; government restrictions on oil production cannot possibly affect oil prices.
You have too much energy, anyway. Have a nice winter.
